I don't remember how many times I had to wait in line to hassle The Princess at the charity benefit event, but I do recall her response.

"Men jeg har ingen penge -- hvordan så ka' jeg hjælpe deg?" she said.

Unfortunately my resources don't run to a translator. All I could do was smile and nod and continue on to another place. The combination of dysentry and homesickness among the writers stationed here (in spite of notorious counter-examples) means that we are often slow to do our journalistic duty to the ill-paid. Filing news reports is like doing a jigsaw. With half the pieces missing.

We do not all desire to adopt an art, or to weed your mind of talent and much nervous output. Nor have you the wages of the artist labourer; nor yet do they posess the parallel that they have never observed 'what is'. They forget to live; or do they think genius stands excused from sobriety? "He has no business in the arts!" they cry. "If he had to continue to be the butcher knocking at our doors, he might exhibit some wantonness of his own - or preserve distinction in the pressure placed upon him to exude a bit." As it is, he has stolen, in such a way that no law can reach him.

I humbly submit the following headline, hoping that some junior hack in our head office will fill you in on all the local gossip by inventing it.

There were too many words in the foregoing expoundation.

barbamat cabrada bancal perfumear alquimista
